In order to reduce costs, management times and inventories, Cryotek has created a refilling system.
This system solves the problem of transporting individual cylinders and finding them, reducing among other things the very high management cost of a fractionation system.
Once the system has been positioned near the work area, it will be possible to continue filling the cylinders without organizing long and expensive transport. You only need a cryogenic liquid gas tank as a gas supply and a stock of empty cylinders to fill.
This refilling system for Argon or Co2 will be positioned on a special transportable skid, specifically created based on your needs. The latter could have the standard dimensions of a container (6000 mm x 2400 mm x 2600 mm) in order to facilitate movement by train or truck. It will be possible to lift the skid with a forklift, while some hooks will be positioned on the roof for lifting with the crane. The skid may have heat-insulating walls and roof (polyurethane density 40Kg/m3) to ensure protection from atmospheric agents and damage. The manifold that loads the cylinders will be placed outside the container on a wall, which will in turn be placed behind, in order to maintain the standard dimensions of the container.

This decision favors the loading and unloading operations of the cylinders. All the devices necessary to fill the cylinders will be positioned inside the container.
The container could have special windows for ventilation, a door for entry of personnel and devices, an electrical system for lighting and supply (power 15 Kw). The system does not include a cryogenic tank. The system will be composed of a cryogenic pump with its electrical panel, a vaporizer, a vacuum pump with control panel, a panel to manage the charge collector with safety systems, some scales for Co2.
The tank will be connected to the system with special cryogenic hoses and after startup it will be possible to continuously fill the cylinders. The number of cylinders you can fill is variable and we can create a skid based on your needs.
The system will be completely automatic and in this way it will be easy to use for your staff.

Localized plant safety system
The system is designed to make the system safe in the event of leaks from the lines carrying combustible and oxidising gases into the work environment. When a gas leak is detected by the operator, he, through the emergency mushroom button located in correspondence with the air passage, immediately closes the normally open pneumatic flanged valve installed. At the entrance to the descent, therefore, the gas supply will be interrupted, allowing the workers to intervene.
This system allows, thanks to the local blocking of the relevant lowering, the safety of the work areas without compromising the continuation of activities by the other operators.
Centralized system safety system with automatic drain.

In the event that it is necessary to interrupt the supply of an entire fuel or oxidation gas line to make the system safe, the localized safety system can be completed by the centralized gas safety system with automatic drain, interception of the gas flow in the line and its emptying.

Upon detection of a gas leak in the environment, the operator will activate the automatic block of the main gas distribution line via an emergency button with protective glass.
Automatically, the system subsequently closes the pneumatic valve located at the inlet of the line and opens a drain valve located on a vent chimney in a special area comparable to an ATEX area.
In this way the operators can make the entire work area safe, ensuring the blocking of the gas supply in the part of the first stage system downstream of the reducer.

Containment jacket reclamation system and gas supply lines
To accelerate the emptying of the lines and therefore have total safety in terms of reclamation of the combustible and oxidizing gas lines, it is possible to install a galvanized steel cylinder rack for an inert gas cylinder and a pre-calibrated first stage reducer upstream of the system complete with safety valve and wall fixing bracket.
This system will provide the purification gas for the total cleaning of the process lines and can be installed separately or to complete the plant safety systems in order to guarantee complete washing of the lines thanks to the passage of inert gas, once the supply of the gas whose leak was detected was blocked.

All the systems described above can be managed manually through the safety systems or automatically through interface systems located throughout the plant.

They are double-acting valves, i.e. they work both in overpressure and in depression and are built in AISI 304 or AISI 316. The declared calibrations are guaranteed by the fact that they are determined according to the weight of the respective plates and by the fact that inside they are generally not springs of any kind are foreseen.

The valves in standard configuration are calibrated at 5 millibar in depression while in overpressure the calibration is 35 millibar, but on request it is possible to increase this value up to 80 millibar using an adjustable preload spring (optional).
They are normally produced in three sizes and divided according to the servings that the customer needs.

However, we remind you that the flow rate is always linked to the operating pressure/depression, therefore the values ​​indicated in the catalog are to be considered purely indicative. It is therefore the user's task to choose the most appropriate valve version based on the passage
actual possession and the pressures involved.
