Valvoflam A.F.R. is especially conceived to obtain the maximum safety level in case of eventual flashbacks or pressurebacks.
The most common devices on the market present an operational logics based on marble/spring or valve/spring, while Valvoflam is equipped with a diaphragm able to operate on the valve together with a spring; this new conception of operation allows to avoid leaks and to be used with very low pressure and high flow rates.
This devce is available in different versions:
• Connection for Oxygen
• Connection for fuel gases
• For cutting handgrip
• To be connected on rubber pipe.
It can be easily and immediately installed and connected diretcly on the operative line if equipped with one or two hosetails. They can also be connected through proper threaded connections (inlet: 3/8” G F; outlet: 3/8” G M).
All the connections are available in different versions under request.
These devices avoid that failure in the usual operation or a wrong use of the cutting and welding equipment causes damages to personnel or plant, such as, for examples, fires or injuries.
Rapid shut-off and control unit of gas lines composed by two pressure detection systems respectively placed upstream and downstream. Moreover, the panel is provided with two purging system and a system of line shut-off. SAIP 94 allows a rapid shut off of gas flow by two pressure detection systems respectively placed upstream and downstream. The system can be integrated with electronic gas control inlet and by inlet, withdrawal and purging gas system in order to avoid the closure of the plants in case of interventions or leakages. It is available for any type of gas in vertical or horizontal version, following plant requirements.
The installation of this unit allows to insulate a part of the plant in case of problem, in order to avoid the stoppage of the complete plant ad to safely perform the necessary checks.
It is important to remind that there are toxic gases that also at low concentration can risk your life. These gases can have an intense odor, as H2S, or can be odorless, that is to say they are practically impossible to be noticed. The most used measurement units for these gases are ppm (parts per million) and ppb (parts per billion).
In regards of toxic gases, the main worry concerns the effects on the workers exposed to also minimum concentration of these gases, that can be inhaled, ingested or absorbed through the skin. In these cases, it is necessary to control the time of exposure to the substance, because it affects the final effects.
Moreover, cases of synergism were noticed, in which the interaction among different substances can have worse effects that a single substance.
It is even necessary to remind that the number of deaths related to the exposure to toxic gases is higher than the number of deaths to the exposure of fuel and flammable gases.

Be aware of its properties and notice its presence allows to have general evidences about the control and the management of this substances and the dangerous situation that can arise. It is possible to use these evidences to prevent the exposure, injuries and maybe the death.
